Our Story

In-Line Custom Fencing started the way most good local businesses do: with two brothers, a truck, and a reputation they wanted to build the right way. Dennis and Will grew up around construction and turned that background into a residential fence contractor and residential fence installation business that homeowners could actually trust to show up and finish the job right. They stay on the job site through every phase, not just on the invoice.

Over more than 15 years of combined experience, the work has grown from backyard fencing and privacy fences into automated gate installation, deck installation, pergolas, hand railings, concrete installation and stump grinding. What has not changed is who shows up. Every estimate, every install, and every deck repair is handled by the same small team that started the company.

Today In-Line Custom Fencing serves homeowners and property owners throughout Greensboro, Oak Ridge, Kernersville, Summerfield and Asheboro, NC, working out of the Greensboro, NC area. The projects have gotten bigger, but the job site still gets the owners, not a rotating crew.

During the recent Labor Day Weekend storm we had the unfortunate experience of having an approximately 24 inch diameter tree come down on the roof of our home. Since there was a lot of damage in the area it was difficult to get someone to come out (with the required crane) to remove the tree from on top of our house. What fencing materials do you work with?

Aluminum, vinyl, wood and chain link, in both residential and commercial applications. We will walk the property with you and talk through which material suits the use, the grade and the budget.

Do you build anything besides fencing?

Yes. We build decks, pergolas and hand railings, pour the concrete that goes with them, and grind out stumps that are in the way of a new fence line or deck footprint.

Can you add automated gates or access control to an existing fence?
